The essentials: Glas Rosebud Butt Plug Set

• 3 sizes: Small, medium and large, all with the same design
• 7 to 11.4 cm (2.8 to 4.5 in): Insertable length, from small to large
• 2.8 to 3.8 cm (1.1 to 1.5 in): Width of each butt plug, from small to large
• Rose base: Flat and flared: it stays outside and keeps the plug in place
• Handmade: No two butt plugs are exactly the same

Who the Glas Rosebud Butt Plug Set is for, and who it isn't

It suits you if

• You want three sizes of the same butt plug, so you can pick the one you fancy each time.
• You are looking for a glass butt plug that is smooth and firm.
• You like to wear it for a while: the flat base keeps it in place even if you change position.

Better look elsewhere if

• You prefer a material with a bit of give. Glass is rigid.
• You want vibration or a remote. These butt plugs have no motor.
• You need more than 3.8 cm of width. That is the maximum in the set.

Size and measurements

The small one is 8.9 cm (3.5 in) long overall, a little longer than a bank card, and 2.8 cm (1.1 in) wide, a little wider than a two-euro coin. The medium one is 10.2 cm (4 in) long, a little shorter than a 33 cl can, and 3.4 cm (1.3 in) wide, between a two-euro coin and a table tennis ball. The large one is 14 cm (5.5 in) long, a little shorter than a BIC Cristal pen, and 3.8 cm (1.5 in) wide, almost the width of a table tennis ball. Of this one, 11.4 cm (4.5 in) goes in, almost the height of a 33 cl can.

How to use the Glas Rosebud Butt Plug Set

1. Check it before use. If you see a crack or a chip in the glass, do not use it.
2. Start with the small one, the smallest in the set: it is 2.8 cm wide.
3. Use plenty of lubricant, on the butt plug and on yourself, and add more as soon as you feel any friction.
4. Insert it slowly, tip first, where it tapers. The rose base always stays outside.
5. To remove it, pull on the base gently and without rushing. A little more lubricant helps.

Cleaning

Wash it before and after every use with warm water and mild soap, rinse it well and dry it before storing it. Store each butt plug separately so they do not knock against each other.

Our tips

• If you feel pain, stop. Never force anything in anal play.
• Do not move it from the anus to the vagina without washing it first.
• If you cover it with a latex condom, do not use oil-based lubricants.
• Glass is rigid and does not give. If you drop it, check it before using it again.

What science says about lubricant in anal sex

The studies we cite did not test this butt plug set. What has been studied is the use of lubricant in anal sex.

• 2,453 adult women. Using a water-based lubricant was associated with more pleasure and satisfaction in anal sex than using no lubricant. The study is about anal sex with a penis, not butt plugs. Herbenick et al., 2011, The journal of sexual medicine.
