Beskrivelse
K-Y Yours + Mine is a twin pack of two different lubricants in 1.69 oz bottles, designed for couples to use together. Yours is silicone-based and warming; K-Y makes it for him. Mine is the tingling one, and the brand keeps it for her. According to K-Y, the new formula is made without hormones or artificial colourings.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
It suits couples who are curious to try two different sensations, warmth and tingling, without having to buy two separate lubricants. If you pay attention to ingredients and would rather avoid hormones and artificial colourings, the current formula ticks that box.
If your toys are made of silicone, bear in mind that Yours is silicone-based. As a rule, it's best not to combine this type of lubricant with toys made of that material, as they can be damaged.
Compatibility
- Yours ingredients: It contains dimethicone, which is the silicone base, and Sensate.
- Mine ingredients: It contains propylene glycol, carbomer, xanthan gum, Sensate, benzoic acid, sodium saccharin and sodium hydroxide.
- Hormones and colourings: K-Y states that the new formula contains neither hormones nor artificial colourings.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- Start with a small amount and add more when you need it; with a condom, apply it to the outside once the condom is on.
- As it's silicone-based, avoid using it with silicone toys, which can be spoilt; with toys made of other materials, test it on a small area first.
- Wipe up anything that drips on the floor straight away: it's very slippery, especially in the shower.
- If you have sensitive skin, test a small amount on the inside of your arm first and wait a while before using it on intimate areas.
- A lubricant is not a contraceptive and doesn't protect against sexually transmitted infections.
Our verdict
Its big plus is that one box gives you two bases and two sensations to try as a couple. That said, the pack comes with both even if you only want one, and Yours, being silicone-based, isn't the most practical choice if you often use silicone toys.
