Selopa Smooth Operator - Blue

The Selopa Smooth Operator is a rechargeable silicone G-spot vibrator in blue. What sets it apart is a separate stimulator that sticks out from the curved, bulging shaft and focuses the vibration on the G-spot. It offers 10 speeds and patterns, is submersible with IPX7 certification, and charges with the USB cable included in the box.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

If the G-spot is what you're after and you want the vibration to reach it in a targeted way, this vibrator's separate protruding stimulator is designed for exactly that. With 10 speeds and patterns, you can keep trying until you find the rhythm that works for you. Because it's submersible, it suits you if you like to play in the shower or the bath. If you have a latex allergy or you're concerned about materials, it's made from silicone free from latex and phthalates, and lab-tested as body-safe.

How to use it and look after it

As it's submersible, you can rinse it under the tap without worrying about water getting in. To recharge it, use the USB cable that comes with it.

• It can be submerged in water.

Compatibility

• Condoms: If you cover it with a latex condom, as a general rule avoid oils and oil-based lubricants, as they damage latex.
• Water: IPX7 and submersible: you can use it in the shower and in the bath too.
• Charging: USB-rechargeable battery, with the cable in the box.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• Start at the lowest intensity and work up gradually: that way you'll find the rhythm you like sooner.
• Charge it fully before first use and, if you go a while without using it, give it a charge now and then: the battery holds up better if it isn't left flat for long.
• Even though it's submersible, dry it thoroughly before connecting it to the charger.
• Wash it after every use with lukewarm water and mild soap, or with a toy cleaner, and dry it thoroughly before putting it away.
• Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
• If you share it, wash it between one person and the next, or cover it with a new condom for each person.
• As it's made of silicone, it's usually used with water-based lube: silicone-based lubes can spoil its surface.

How it differs

• ROMP Hype: The Smooth Operator offers 10 speeds and patterns and adds a separate stimulator that sticks out from the shaft, whereas the ROMP Hype has 4 patterns and 6 intensities with a soft tip for the G-spot. If you want more variety in vibration and that extra protrusion, the Selopa suits you better; if you'd rather know in advance how long it lasts, the ROMP Hype states one hour of use and 180 minutes of charging.
